Katy and Nicholas: Wedding

Last weekend Kory and I travelled way down south to Vermilion, S.D., for Katy and Nicholas' wedding. The church was a colonel classic, with big pillars out front and big, beautiful windows inside. And the reception took place at a lovely winery, about one mile from the church. Katy and Nicholas were so easy to work with, and made the day so much fun! To make me extra-happy, they had not one, not two, but FIVE different flavors of cake (hint: I like cake) at the reception. It was really clever: each table had their own mini-cake, and each was a different flavor, so if guests wanted a new flavor, they just got up and went over to the next table. It was a great "get-to-know-ya" ice breaker before the dance. The carrot cake was my favorite. :)
